Continuing a four-generation tradition, Malek Family Stewardship Farm is committed to cultivating ten acres of certified organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs. The farm, located near Rosholt, Wisconsin, grows a variety of heirloom and exotic vegetables but specializes in a diversity of potatoes.
We believe that healthy soil makes for healthy communities, and we see our stewardship of the land as an investment in both our community and the environment. Traditionally, farming has served as a cultural anchor for rural Wisconsin. It is our hope that it continues to be part of the identity of Central Wisconsin in a way that also serves local economies.
We grow honest food that sustains both farmer and consumer. Our farm is home to a community-supported agriculture (CSA) scheme of eighty members. We also wholesale to a variety of venues: restaurants, bakeries, cafeterias, grocery stores, and cooperatives. From our field to your plate, we love being the farmer that brings you nutrition and well-being with every bite.
Do you carrot at all for me?
My heart beets for you,
With your turnip nose
And your radish face.
You are a peach.
If we cantaloupe,
Weed make a swell pear.
